Last Day of Vay Cay

This is actually one of the most relaxing last days of vacation I've ever had! Yesterday I finished my chemistry, so today I didn't have to do any homework!

The downside is that I stayed up late watching Garden State (which I recommend everyone see! Awesome movie.) Staying up late also meant that I woke up late, which was like 1:22, you know, I'm just approximating.

See waking up late on the last day of vacation because you stayed up late the night before isn't good. The day goes by so fast! Like right now I've only been up 10 hours and I don't feel like ive been through a complete day. But in order to get up tomorrow I have to go to bed soon. So I lost like a day today.

Though there wasn't much for me to do anyway, so atleast I enjoyed my last day of vacation, which I never usually do. Right now I'd usually be finishing up my homework. But today I'm not and I'm glad!

Anywho, I'm going to bed, just thought I'd write because I think this weeks going to be busy, with National Honors Society, and Research Paper.

Theft

Well it's been a little bit since I last wrote. Even though I've had the time, I just haven't felt like typing. Tonight though I had the energy and inspiration to do so.

A couple days ago, Thursday I believe, my cell phone was stolen from my car. It sucked. It's scary, the feeling you have when you find out that you've been robbed. I mean the cell phone was lost, but we have insurance, but it's just that feeling of being used. That feeling of being violated that's just so strange. I don''t know.

Anyway I talk about it in the video, so no use retyping it! Watch and learn!

Nature

I know I haven't written for awhile but I've been busy and tired.

Today I actually had the energy to do something with my free time! Shocking I know! Decided to have a pow-wow with nature today and get connected to that other side of me that I tend to lose in the mayhem and structure of school.

Valentine's

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! It's been a pretty good day actually. Especially waking up to hear that school was canceled and I actually could sleep in and enjoy the day! It's not often we get a snowday, but we finally got one. Though I'm not so sure I wanted one today. I did miss a field trip, and my test schedule is out of whack before vacation. This should make for an interesting rest of the week. Right now, I have no idea what I should be studying for!

Bad, Bad, Bad

I've been bad this weekend. All I gave you was one video, and a short one at that. It's been a busy weekend, filled with working on research paper, and jazzin' it up with Sweet Jazz. Now it's over and I got one more week before vacation! Just got to pull through this week and I'll be fine.

So far only a math test and Spanish test and history test lined up. Which in consideration isn't all that bad...surprisingly. We'll see how the week goes. Anyway, I'm tired, and I'm going to go.

Hearing some news, I got concerned. Straight to the point, neuroscientists have discovered a means by which they can use a scanner to read the intentions within your mind. This is some scary stuff. What does the future hold? Who knows. (Link to story)

*Incoherent Babbling*

Yea...CALs meet tonight and well, I'm tired, wiped, unable to think. The whole shebang.

The meet went pretty well, I got fifth over all which is pretty good since there were like 12 people, and I beat my best by 2 seconds! So thats all good.

But the recovery from that run has been slow. And doing an added 4x400 relay didn't help. So im pretty much all worn out. My words are slurred, i barely have the energy to talk, typings not too bad, but forming words with my mouth has proved to be a challenge. Homework on top of that was hard.

Yea.. I'm errr going to bed.

Amazing Day!

Today has been nothing less than incredibly exciting! Shall I recap? I shall!

Mornin'- Well first i woke up at like 9:30 in order to take a shower so that my mother and I could go clothes shopping. Now clothes shopping usually means more Adidas clothing but today was different. Now that I'm 17, I have to move on and branch out! So I made the plunge today and bought jeans and shirts...none of them Adidas.

It's a crazy feeling and I never noticed how hard it is to shop when you don't know that you want Adidas. But there is a lot of mixing and matching, which is fun!

I guess I've come to realize that I got to find myself a style. Having drowned myself in the Adidas fashion, this is totally different. I got to see the shirts I can pull off, and the kind I can't. Along with pants, but I tried some jeans on that were tight...and I'm not quite sure how anyone wears those. Quite uncomfortable.

Anyway so I got some clothes but that was like sitting-through-math-class boring compared to the rest of my day. Hard to Believe, I know.

Aft'r'noon'- So I got home and changed into my outfit of the day. Then waited by the phone for Sam's call. Come 1 the phone rang! I answer and I'm told to go to my mailbox, and under it is a note that explains my challenge. I was sent on a scavenger hunt for my presents. I'll spare you the details, but I was sent all over town! And acquired all my gifts! Once I was done I went to Sam's house, where she kidnapped me! Through a jacket over my head, and blindfolded me!

I got to take it off eventually but it was intense! Anywho, we arrived at the 5 Wits place. Now I'd never heard of this but it was really cool! We went in and proceeded to solve problems! and escape the wrath of the pharaoh!!

Let's see we left there to go walk around Boston Common! The Tennis courts were slippery! and Then the whole swan pond was frozen as well, so we slide! Then after our faces were pretty much frozen, we went to go eat at California pizza kitchen. BLT pizza for the both of us..best pizza there by golly!

Then we left there to go see Shear Madness! A hilarious show where YOU pick the murderer! It was soooooo funny!

Let's see we left there, and got taken back to Sam's, where we proceeed to have sundaes and watched my newly acquired movie, Zorro! I love that movie.

And then by that time it was 11:20, so I headed out.


Talk about an exciting day!

I'm wiped now though! So I'm going to bed!

Groundhog's Day!

Today we celebrated the wonderful Groundhog Day! It's one of the best holidays of the year, where we all gather around a hole and base the events within the next 6 weeks on the one moment where the groundhog either sees his shadow, or not.

And the news is... He didn't see his shadow! Early Spring...yet its snowing out now...interesting!

Boothday!!

It's a Bubbly Boothday here in Jakeville. (For those of you unfamiliar with the location of Jakeville, close your eyes and imagine a warm and magical place where monkeys and humans roam freely together and no man judges the other and the monkeys play violin.) But Boothday here in Jakesville is a very special day. It's the day we all celebrate the birthday of our mayor (me).

Great festivities took place today! There were donut holes, hot chocolate, candy, erasers, pencils, candy, white out, highlighter, the magical and holy invisible tape, and last but not least a car wrapped with wrapping paper.

Such activities are normal in Jakesville! But a few radical leaders take charge and really outdo themselves, to make a Boothday better than the previous!

So Hurray for the 17th annual Boothday celebration! And to many others!
